Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Paris

Welcome to your tour with Europamundo! Upon arrival, we’ll transfer you to the hotel, and you’ll have some free time to relax or explore. Later, check the boards at the hotel reception for information on the start of the tour.

 

Day 2: Paris – Versailles and Montmartre

This morning, we’ll explore French history at the Palace of Versailles (admission not included), famous for its grand gardens. Afterward, we’ll return to Paris and visit Montmartre, taking a cable car (included) to this iconic bohemian district known for its artists, painters, and cabarets. Later, a panoramic city tour with a local guide will highlight Paris’s main avenues and monuments. The evening includes an optional variety show for those interested.

 

Day 3: Paris – Eiffel Tower and Seine Cruise

We’ll start the day visiting the Eiffel Tower, with tickets included for the second floor, where you can take in breathtaking views. Following this, we’ll enjoy a scenic boat cruise along the Seine, lasting about an hour and fifteen minutes. You’ll have a free afternoon to explore Paris at your own pace.

 

Day 4: Paris – Burgundy – Beaune – Lyon

We’ll journey through the Burgundy region, famous for its vineyards. Our first stop is Beaune, where you can enjoy the charming streets, explore the hospice, and visit the wine museum. Then, we’ll continue to Lyon, located along the Rhône River, with its UNESCO World Heritage historic center. We’ll take a cable car up to Notre-Dame de Fourvière for stunning city views. Free time will follow for individual exploration.

 

Day 5: Lyon – Geneva – Zurich

Today, we’ll head to Switzerland, stopping first in Geneva. We’ll pass by the Palace of Nations (the European UN headquarters), stroll through the English Garden with its flower clock, and see the impressive Jet d’Eau fountain. We’ll then drive along scenic Lake Geneva and Lake Neuchâtel. After a stop in Neuchâtel to enjoy the lake views, we’ll continue to Zurich, arriving in the late afternoon.

 

Day 6: Zurich and Lake Zurich Cruise

We’ll explore Zurich, Switzerland’s financial and cultural center, known for its quality of life. Later, we’ll take a nearly two-hour scenic cruise on Lake Zurich with stops at charming lakeside villages. We’ll disembark in Rapperswil, famous for its medieval castle, and return to Zurich by train.

 

Day 7: Zurich – Lucerne – Interlaken Region

We’ll travel to the Interlaken region, enjoying stunning mountain and lake views. Our first stop is Grindelwald, where we’ll have time for coffee before a cable car ride up the mountain. A scenic mountain path leads to a suspension bridge with views of surrounding glaciers. After lunch (included) on the mountain, we’ll head to Lucerne for free time to explore its picturesque streets. We’ll then return to Zurich.

 

Day 8: Zurich – Lugano – Morcote – Milan

Leaving Zurich, we’ll cross the Alps to the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland, stopping first in Lugano. You’ll have time to explore and enjoy lunch. We’ll then cross into Italy, reaching Como, known for its beautiful lake gardens and cathedral, before continuing to Milan. Here, our guide will show us the impressive Piazza del Duomo, with time to explore before transferring to the hotel.

 

Day 9: Milan – Pisa – Rome

Today, we travel to Pisa, where a small tourist train will take us to the Piazza dei Miracoli to admire Italy’s renowned art complex and the iconic Leaning Tower. Afterward, we’ll head to Rome, arriving in the evening.

 

Day 10: Rome – Panoramic Tour and Trastevere

The morning begins with a panoramic tour of Rome. We’ll visit the Vatican and Saint Peter’s Basilica, then explore the Imperial Forums (tickets included), a historic complex of monumental buildings. In the evening, we’ll transfer to Trastevere, a district filled with charm, restaurants, and cobblestone streets for a pleasant night out.

 

Day 11: Rome – End of Tour

After breakfast, the tour concludes, leaving you with wonderful memories of this journey through Europe.
